NAB

   National Association of Broadcasters. A trade organization for the television broadcast industry in the United States. NAB is involved in standards, lobbying the federal government, sponsors trade shows, and other activities. NAB is known for the annual National Association of Broadcasters Conference, a major industry trade show where new products are often announced.

Network

   A series or group of devices connected by communication channels in different locations.

NTSC

   A video standard established by the United States (RCA/NBC} and adopted by numerous other countries. This is a 525-line video with 3.58-MHz chroma subcarrier and 60 cycles per second.
